SBI PO 2023 Selection Process:
1. Preliminary Written Examination (CBT) – This initial stage is qualifying in nature and carries a weightage of 100 marks. However, the marks obtained in the prelims will not be considered in the final selection process.
2. Main Written Examination (CBT) + Descriptive Test – The second phase holds substantial weightage with a total of 250 marks. Phase II marks (out of 250) are converted to 75 marks. Alongside the objective test, candidates are required to appear for a descriptive test.
3. Interview/Group Discussion – This stage is worth 50 marks in total. The scores from Phase III (out of 50) are converted to 25 marks.
4. Document Verification – As part of the selection process, document verification is carried out to ensure the authenticity of submitted credentials.
5. Medical Examination – Successful candidates may undergo a medical examination to assess their fitness for the position.
