Age Limit: The age limit for Haryana Police Vacancy 2024 is 18-28 Years for Constables and 21-30 Years for Sub-Inspector. (Age Relaxation of 3 Years Given to All Candidates). The crucial date for the calculation of the age is 01.02.2024.

Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

As per the new recruitment rules of the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024, candidates 10 times of the vacancies will be called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). As per the new recruitment rules, the PMT and PET will be qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded for PMT and PET. After that, the written exam will be conducted that includes 100 questions for 94.5 Marks.

The candidates will also be given 2.5 marks for socio-economic criteria and 3 marks for the NCC certificate. The Selection Process of Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2023 includes the following Stages:

  • Stage-1: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)- Qualifying
  • Stage-2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)- Qualifying

Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will employ a selection process that includes a Knowledge Test for candidates who qualify the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test. The detailed procedure for this test is outlined as follows:

(a) The Knowledge Test will carry a weightage of ninety-four point five percent (94.5%) and will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions. Each question will be allotted equal marks.

(b) The examination will be conducted in bilingual format, i.e., Hindi/English, except where the candidate’s proficiency in either language needs to be assessed.

(c) The test paper will cover various subjects including General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and other relevant fields/trades. Additionally, there will be a minimum of 10% questions related to basic knowledge of computers and at least 20% questions focusing on basic knowledge about Haryana. The questions will be of a standard expected from individuals who have completed 10+2 for Constable positions and have graduated for Sub-Inspector positions.

(d) To qualify for selection in the general category, candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage) in the Knowledge Test. For candidates applying under reserved categories (both vertical and horizontal), a concession of 10% will be provided, thus lowering the minimum cut-off to 40% (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage).
